ReplyDeleteMy signature dish is Chicken Paprikash. Its a Hungarian dish my mother in law (God rest her soul) taught me to make. My husband's family is from Hungary. So the dish is authentic. My friends beg me to make it.
ReplyDeleteI don't really have one signature dish. What I bring depends on the season. For thanksgiving, I like to make a cornucopia out of pilabury breadstick dough and fill it with veggies. For Christmas, I like to make an igloo out of cream cheese (with cocktail sauce and crabmeat on the inside for added flavor) and make penguins from carrots and olives and serve with crackers.

ReplyDeleteOk, after asking several family members I am told that I have a couple things. Although they are not really dishes they are more desserts I guess. Flat apple pie w/a caramel sauce, my pumpkin cookies and my caramel, chocolate pretzel sticks. All are requested all the time by family and friends.

ReplyDeleteI have made several of your recipes and everyone loves them. Thank you for sharing :) My signature dish is either my spinach dip or my sopapilla cheesecake squares. My husband's boss always requests my cheesecake squares for every function at work and I usually end up making them fresh on the day of the event and driving the dessert to them while it's still hot vs. my husband taking it to work that morning. Yes, I'm nice like that :)
